Jokepedia

Discover jokes with clear explanations of the punchline, structure, and humor type.

Jokepedia collects editorially reviewed jokes and classifies them by categories, joke patterns, and humor types. That way you not only find new jokes, but also understand why they work.

Submitting requires signing in.

Jokepedia is still growing. You can already discover and submit jokes, but some areas are still in test operation. That is why somewhat stricter limits currently apply on purpose, so the site stays stable and fair to use.

What is Jokepedia?

Jokepedia is a curated joke collection with a special focus: not only the joke itself counts, but also the explanation behind it.

Every published joke can be classified by language, category, joke pattern, and humor type. This shows whether a joke is based on wordplay, surprise, exaggeration, a role cliché, or a classic question-and-answer structure.

Why explain jokes?

Many jokes only work through context, ambiguity, or an unexpected twist. The explanations help you understand humor more consciously – without losing the fun of the joke.

Curated jokes

Published jokes are not just collected, but structured and editorially reviewed.

Explanations

Jokes can have clear explanations that make the punchline and structure easy to follow.

Filter & classification

Categories, joke patterns, and humor types make the collection easier to search and compare.
